10 Year Guarantee - Steel Shroud
The following guarantee
is brief with no small print.
Each Steel Shroud is manufactured from high quality Steel and we use the latest CNC machining technology. Although the Steel Shroud will no doubt last a life time, we have to be realistic therefore,
each Steel Shroud
*is guaranteed for 10 Years
from the date of purchase for the original purchaser.
If the Steel Shroud cracks due to faulty Steel or workmanship we will replace it free of charge.
Claims Procedure
- Return the Steel Shroud to the place of purchase with the original invoice / receipt.
- It will be inspected and if it is considered cracked due to faulty Steel or workmanship we will replace it with a new one free of charge.
Our guarantee is only for the original purchaser and the original purchase invoice / receipt must be presented for a warranty claim.
This is to prove original ownership.
*This Guarantee DOES NOT INCLUDE
- Oxidation that may occur on the Steel Shroud due to the external coating being scratched, chipped or damaged by any method.
- If the Steel Shroud has been cut with any type of non-powered or powered cutting tool.
- If the Steel Shroud has been damaged in any other way, by any method.
- If sold to a third party our guarantee is null and void for the new owner.
Exclusions From Our Guarantee
We Do Not Guarantee the Padlock or 10mm diameter High Tensile Chain purchased with Gate Security.
Why: We buy the Padlock and the 10mm diameter High Tensile Chain from other companies and these companies do not give a guarantee on these items.

Buy Longer Lengths Of High Tensile Chain From Us
Gate Security includes a 500mm length of 10mm diameter High Tensile Chain as this is long enough for approximately 75% of Gate Security sales eg. to secure a gate to a post, double gates together or to place the 10mm diameter High Tensile Chain through some 4WD Camper Trailer wheels or through the front or back Wheel of a Motorbike and lock it.
If you require a longer length of 10mm diameter High Tensile Chain to protect other valuable possessions eg.
- Boat Trailer
- Caravan
- Camper Trailer
- Go Kart and Trailer
- or any other valuable possessions that require a Padlock and Chain to protect them from being stolen.
You can purchase any length of
10mm diameter High Tensile Chain
you require with Gate Security.
